FROSTED APPLE-RAISIN PIE

Pastry for 2-crust pie
3/4 cup sugar
2 tbsp. flour
1/8 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
6 cups sliced, peeled tart apples
1/2 cup seedless raisins
2 tbsp. orange juice
4 tbsp. butter or margarine
Orange Frosting (recipe follows)

Combine sugar, flour, salt and cinnamon; mix with apples and raisins;
place in pastry-lined 9" pie pan. Sprinkle with orange juice; dot
with butter. Adjust top crust and flute edges; cut vents. Bake in
hot oven (400F degrees) about 40 minutes, or until crust is browned
and apples are tender.

Spread Orange Frosting over hot pie.


ORANGE FROSTING

Mix together 1 cup confectioners sugar, 3 tbsp. strained
fresh orange juice and 1 tsp. graded orange peel.
